Emailing from Crystal 3.0 in VDB 5.7

I am testing the emailing of a report from my VDB 5.7 exe and I get an:

Error 2 returned by function <>

What does this refer to?

I have the necessary dll's in my folder.

Has anyone successfully emailed a Crystal report from 5.7?

I have emailed lots of reports using the email button. I do know that
you have to have Outlook on your computer and have set up Microsoft
Messenger.
