My browse object runs fine on startup, but as users
scroll through the table, after a while, it goes
out of sync. I mean, some of the columns don't scroll
together with the rest, sometimes when you click on
the row the other columns update, sometimes the entire
columns disappear entirely.
I've tried flushing, forced refreshing, forced re-assertion
of the fields and alias, nothing works. So far, I just
did workarounds to prevent the users from needing to use the
scroll bar.
I know that each release since Windows95 has had worse
compatibility with vDB5.x, and the NTVDM has been leaking
more and more memory. I know that I should port my apps
to true 32-bit, but these are huge legacy apps that
require serious bucks to port. I would if the client
would foot the bill! :)
Anybody got any suggestions for kicking life into
this dying browse control?
